An event created and organized by All About Italy, in collaboration with the Region of Tuscany, the Municipality of Genoa, and the Prosecco DOC Consortium
Italian Aperitif Week returns to New York, bringing back the event that has transformed a daily ritual into a modern expression of Made in Italy. The aperitivo—balancing flavor and hospitality, stands out as a language that transcends borders, bringing Italy into the center of the global conversation with effortless style.
The 2026 edition represents a meaningful step forward, redefining both the structure and the positioning of the project. Conceived by All About Italy, the initiative reinforces its identity and its role as a space for communication and exchange. At the center is the experience—built through the ongoing dialogue between institutional partners, industry professionals, and a global audience.
Within this context, the Prosecco DOC Consortium plays a pivotal role, becoming the event’s go‑to name for sparkling wines. Prosecco takes center stage as the creative base for the cocktails—an unmistakable blend of quality, character, and versatility—while giving bartenders full freedom to make it their own. The outcome is a vibrant, multi‑voiced narrative that showcases the product’s richness and its relevance today.
Along with the signature presence of Prosecco, Italy’s institutions step into the spotlight, with the Region of Tuscany and the Municipality of Genoa playing key roles in driving the event’s promotion. Their participation enriches the narrative, anchoring it to the territories and their identities, and positioning the event as both a cultural and gastronomic platform. Tuscany and Genoa become part of a larger vision—one where local stories connect seamlessly with an international audience.
The concept stays true to what has driven the event’s success from the beginning: ten exclusive venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn are selected to craft an original Prosecco‑based cocktail, creating an urban journey that invites people to wander, taste, and compare. Each cocktail is brought to life through photography, recipes, and digital storytelling—featured on All About Italy’s social platforms, italianaperitifweek.com, and allaboutitaly.net—forming a collective narrative that grows over time and boosts the visibility of every participant.
“Returning to New York with Italian Aperitif Week after last year’s success, is a way to deepen the relationship between Italy and a global audience,” says Paolo Del Panta, Founder and Publisher of All About Italy and organizer of the event. “The aperitivo is an instinctive language yet deeply tied to our identity: it reflects our way of living, how we come together, and how we share. This edition marks another step in building a platform that unites regions, brands, and people.”
Audience engagement is one of the standout features of the 2026 edition. To make the experience even more engaging, All About Italy is launching two contests that strengthen the connection between the event and its community. The first targets bartenders, with a social vote that will crown the top cocktail and award its creator a flight to Italy—both a prize and a chance for real on‑the‑ground discovery. The second invites the public to register via QR code for a final drawing offering a trip to Italy. Together, these two complementary initiatives bring professionals and consumers into the spotlight, turning the event into a shared, city‑wide experience.”
“Our intention was to design a format that went beyond simple celebration—one that offered a genuine, interactive experience of the Italian aperitivo,” says Simona Gazzaniga, Global Marketing Manager. “The aim is to showcase and tell the story of some of the most iconic Made in Italy food & beverage products by engaging both the public and the bartenders, reinforcing All About Italy’s approach to storytelling that brings the true Italian lifestyle to the forefront, whether through our magazine or through experiences like Italian Aperitif Week.”
In a city like New York—where the offering is vast and highly competitive—Italian Aperitif Week stands out for its ability to merge content and form, relationships and storytelling. The aperitivo becomes a cultural moment, capable of conveying Italy through authentic, contemporary experiences.
What makes the project truly stand out is its ability to weave product, territory, creativity, and audience into a clear, recognizable story. That balance is what allows Italian Aperitif Week to solidify its place on the international calendar while serving as an effective platform for promoting Made in Italy—one that continues to evolve without compromising its identity
