Since February 19th, and until February 25, the Italian capital of fashion is under the watchful eye of those who enthusiastically follow the fashion shows to discover a preview of the trends for the upcoming Autumn-Winter season. The busy calendar is full of unmissable events: 60 fashion shows, 80 presentations – including 4 by appointment -, and 33 related events for a total of 173 collections.

On the evening of Tuesday, the beginning of the fashion week was celebrated with the presentation of the book ‘Franca: Chaos and Creation‘ in Corso Como 10, along with the debut on the catwalk of Benetton, which for the first time presented its fashion show. The evening continued with the presentation and the party of ‘The Bridge‘: a fun evening before the beginning of the tight schedule of fashion shows. Among the most awaited fashion shows, there undoubtedly was Gucci’s return to its sprawling Gucci Hub headquarters after last season’s one-off sojourn in Paris, where the famed Le Palace nightclub played host to a fashion extravaganza. The fashion show of Alessandro Michele, Gucci’s creative director, was followed by another highly anticipated presentation, the one signed by ‘Moncler Genius … Loci‘, which was held in the area of Via Ferranti Aporti thanks to a redevelopment project of the former warehouses connected to Milan Central Station.
