Italian ballet dancer Roberto Bolle and American model Kendall Jenner, together, smiling under the sun of a relaxing day in Malibu, are the protagonists of the photo-shoot signed by Mikael Jansson for Tod’s Spring 2018 collection advertising campaign revealed at a party during Milan Fashion Week.
The images, portray both Jenner and Bolle dressed head-to-toe in the luxury brand’s leather goods as they pose against a beautiful ocean backdrop – and often playing with an adorable corgi puppy. The naturalness of Jenner’s smile and Roberto Bolle’s effortless elegance and charm represent the quintessence of Tod’s world, the casual elegance that characterizes its stylish and classic brand identity; a story that tells the love for Made in Italy.
Tod’s, presenting the campaign on its website, says about Jenner’s and Bolle’s experience with embracing the Italian lifestyle while starring in the campaign: “Together, a true ambassador of Italy renowned around the world and an artist with her own global following who loves Italy, live all things beautiful and Italian. Smiling, as they spend a relaxing day in the sunshine, Kendall and Roberto experience the Italian way of life and the world of Tod’s with its quality and impeccable taste.”
While Bolle commented: “We had fun making this campaign. It has been a nice moment. For me, it was a good change from a very intense period. It has been a moment to breathe, with Kendall we had fun. For those who come from the theater and are used to many hours of training, it is an escape from this world full of sweat and sacrifice and daily work. I like that I came out as ambassador of the Italian style.”
