The Italian Association of Arizona is organizing the 5th edition of the annual Italian Festival of Arizona, a two-day event celebrating Italian culture, music, food, fashion, and handcraft that will be held on March 24th and March 25th at the Civic Center Mall in the city of Scottsdale that sponsors the event.
For the weekend visitors will have the opportunity to experience Italy without crossing the ocean. Authentic Italian cuisine, wine tasting, dance performances, live music, culture and handcrafted products will be all available directly in Arizona in both their traditional and modern forms.
The rich program features plenty of performances by Italian artists that will arrive from their home-country for this special events; for example it will be possible to enjoy demonstrations by Don Pasta – the renowned Italian DJ committed to the rediscovery of Italian regional traditional recipes -, performances by Quartetto AIRES – a group of four young musicians who play the accordion and seek to expand the popularity of this instrument -, and the music of Pietro Rainone – singer-songwriter, guitarist, and entertainer passionate about classic Neapolitan music.
