More than six million units sold since 1957, more than two million in the last ten years, and more than 80 per cent of sales beyond Italy’s borders – these are the numbers confirming the success of Fiat 500, which celebrated its sixtieth birthday last year. This little masterpiece of the automotive industry revolutionized the traditional rules of the market and proved that a small car can express itself in many different ways, inspiring not only drivers, but also the imagination of artists and fashion designers, who have given elegant, exclusive and sporty interpretations of this well-loved car.
At the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show Fiat presents the latest homage to this success by unveiling the 500 Collezione special series, which embodies all the characteristics of the original 500, with its unique style and unmistakable, timeless design, presenting its ever-fashionable personality with a fresh, sophisticated spirit, and featuring finely tailored workmanship and exclusive material combinations.
Available both as a hatch and a convertible, it features a modern reworking of its great forerunner’s unmistakable design signatures, with chrome trim on the front bumper, bonnet, and mirror caps, exclusive 16-inch alloy wheels, exclusive two-tone liveries, and a special logo that appears both on the boot and embroidered on the two-tone seats and on the floor mats. These, together with the body colored dashboard give the interior irresistible elegance. The new Fiat 500 Collezione also offers the latest connectivity and technology to choose from, including the Uconnect 7-inch HD LIVE radio, integrated Tom Tom navigation, and Beats Audio Hi-Fi system. As far as the engine is concerned, the Fiat 500 Collezione will be available exclusively in combination with the 1.2 69hp petrol engine, coupled with a five-speed manual or Dualogic transmission.
