Mille Miglia 2018, the 91st edition of the legendary race

The 2018 edition of the Mille Miglia historic cars race, will start Wednesday, May 16th at 14.30 from Brescia. According to the program, which includes 112 time trials, the 1,743 kilometers long track is divided into four stages: Wednesday 16th from Brescia to Cervia-Milano Marittima, Thursday 17th from Cervia-Milano Marittima to Rome, Friday 18th from Rome to Parma, and Saturday 20th from Parma to Brescia. A total of 725 crews from 44 countries across the globe registered for the race that goes through some of the most beautiful cities of Italy, with Italian ones representing around 30% of accepted crews.

The most represented brand in this year edition is Fiat with 49 cars – which last year was present with 36 cars -, followed by Alfa Romeo with 48, Jaguar with 35, and Mercedes-Benz with 33 cars. Among the celebrities taking part in the race there are: Coldplay bass player Guy Berryman, Oscar winner Adrien Brody, Dutch prince Van Oranje, Italian singer Piero Pelù, Spanish singer Alvaro Soler, and former Formula One driver Giancarlo Fisichella.
In occasion of the presentation of the program, Aldo Bonomi, president of Mille Miglia srl, commented: “Mille Miglia, with its drive towards technological progress, has promoted a culture of improvement.
