The 15th edition of ‘Vinòforum – Lo Spazio del Gusto‘ (the space of taste) starts today on Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz in Rome and until June 24 will present numerous events involving Italy’s top culinary professionals, wine experts, and restaurateurs for the delight of the visitors’ taste-buds.
Some of the highlights of this year’s editions are: the ‘Vinòforum Academy’ – with 2500 participating wine labels from 500 wineries, wine “speed tastings”, and presentations by sommeliers -; the ‘Temporary Restaurant’ – where 24 of the best Italian restaurants will present three different courses, for a total of 120 different recipes paired with the wines showcased in Academy -; the ‘Oleoteca’ – dedicated to the best Italian extra virgin olive oils -; the ‘Lounge Bar Distillery’ – with tastings led by Whiskey Italy -; the ‘Alchemiq Bar’ – which will host the best Italian mixology masters -; the ‘Wine & Gourmet Arena’ – a stage that will host 24 shows, from tastings to presentations and talk shows the most eminent national and international food and wine experts -; ‘The Night Dinner’ – a dinner prepared by great chefs and paired with great wines to be enjoyed under the stars -; and ‘Maestri in Cucina’ – 10 event-dinners featuring menus prepared in collaboration by a master chef and a master pizzaiolo.
As event organizer Emiliano De Venuti explains, one of the positive aspects of Vinòforum is the fact that it offers the public the opportunity to taste the dishes of great masters of gastronomy at absolutely affordable prices.
