Niko Romito’s restaurant opened in the Bvlgari Hotel Milano

Following successes in Beijing, Shanghai, and Dubai, the three-Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito once again joins in with Bvlgari and brings his signature culinary concept back to where it all began: Italy.

“Ristorante Niko Romito” in the Bvlgari Hotel in Milan offers the same menu specially designed for Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts with some special dishes created specifically for this location. In order to design the “Romito for Bvlgari”, menu the chef spent two years studying the techniques and ingredients of Italian cuisine to create a contemporary model of Italian cooking. With a focus on simplicity and flavor, his essential recipes update traditional dishes for a modern palate, giving international guests the opportunity to experience the flavors and textures of the Italian cuisine. Romito explained: “Taste is an absolute value, and, as such, it can speak to everyone. With recipes and gestures, like cutting bread or meat at the table, we will serve a collection of “standards”, a grand tour of the best of Italian cuisine.”

The special dishes created for the Milan restaurant include mayonnaise of potatoes and peppers, beef with black pepper, tortelli with ricotta, spinach and manteca, spaghetti with tomato sauce, and bread and chocolate. The resident chef will be Claudio Catino, already at the helm of the Beijing and Shanghai brigades during the first months after the opening.

Silvio Ursini, Executive Vice President of Bulgari, commented: “Milan is both the first city in which, fourteen years ago, we embarked on the adventure in the hospitality sector and the new culinary capital of the country. The restaurant will enhance the hotel stay for our guests and it will be open to the public to let everyone experience the true taste of Italy,” the maximum expression of the Made in Italy’s culture, elegance, and vitality.
