Campari inaugurated its New York headquarters

new york campari opening headquarter drink drinks italian beverageLast year, Campari America, the US subsidiary of Campari Group, the world’s sixth-largest spirits company, announced that it was going to move its headquarters from San Francisco to New York City. Now, the new location has been inaugurated, in the presence of the Italian ambassador in the USA Armando Varricchio, of the chairman Luca Garavoglia, the CEO Bob Kunze-Concewitz and the Managing Director for North America Jean Jacques Dubau.

The event was the occasion to celebrate the success story of the Group in the USA, the most profitable market in the world.
During the inauguration, Varricchio recalled how Campari had exported Italian style since 1860, becoming at the same time an iconic symbol of the Made in Italy and an element of pop culture. According to Dubau, Campari America has become the number-one revenue generating territory for Campari Group and the relocation of its offices was decided to allow it to be closer to the worldwide headquarters in Milan, to the production facilities in Kentucky, as well as to be in the epicenter for the American creative and spirits industries.

The new headquarters, which occupy two floors of the iconic Grace Building, in midtown Manhattan, houses US operations; North America regional executives and support teams; and global strategic marketing for Campari Group’s spirits brands, such as SKYY Vodka, Wild Turkey Bourbon, Espolòn Tequila, Appleton Estate Jamaican Rums, and Glen Grant Scotch Whisky.
