“Chiara Ferragni – Unposted”, directed by Elisa Amoruso, explores the private and professional life of the first fashion influencer in the world, showing the role she played in the disruptive digital revolution that has taken place over the last decade. The 85-minutes-long docufilm will be screened for the first time today, September 4th, during the 76th edition of the Venice Film Festival in the “Sconfini” category of the official program of the Festival.
Ferragni entrusted the story of her life and career to Amoruso and her fresh point of view, distant from the world of fashion and social media and, at the same time, free of prejudice towards the fashion system and the influencer. The director, thanks to the alchemy established with Ferragni, has managed to create an intimate portrait of the fashion icon and entrepreneur, profoundly different from the one usually shared through social media.
Amoruso explained: “The film seeks the secret of her rapid and shocking success, with a look that does not want to be judgmental, but rather inquisitive. Chiara Ferragni is also the person behind her character, with her frailties and her roots. Precisely these contribute to explaining her success in a world, that of social networks, which has no laws, but is universal and can offer a key to understanding our present and our future.”
