On September 24th, on the eve of the opening of the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, the new 64steel by Sanlorenzo was chosen as one of the winners at the 6th edition of the “MYS Superyacht Awards”, honoring the four best yachts over 40 meters in length participating in the show.
During the award ceremony held at the Monaco Yacht Club, the new Sanlorenzo flagship received the “2019 MYS/RINA Award” after being selected by a jury of experts. In particular, the jury appreciated its systems and technology that comply with the highest international standards for the prevention of water and air pollution, which have been set by the Italian association for ship classification RINA and guarantee the yacht’s “green” certification.
With the 64Steel Attila, Sanlorenzo launched its most prestigious and imposing flagship; a roomy, spacious, and welcoming long vessel that offers levels of onboard social life that have never been seen before on a yacht of this size.
With 1,600 gross tons, 64 meters of length, five decks and an internal maximum width of 12.5 meters, the flagship is the largest yacht Sanlorenzo has produced to date. An innovative offering, thanks to layout and structures that are usually found on larger yachts, and which allow Sanlorenzo to apply unprecedented solutions to create maximum onboard livability while maintaining elegant external lines.
The Main Deck at the stern and the Beach Club on the Lower Deck are undoubtedly the most striking areas of the project. A decisive design and layout feature is the double staircase connecting the pool and dining area to the Beach Club, complete with sauna, hammam, massage room, and fitness room, au fil de l’eau. With the transom and lateral platforms open, the Beach Club has an exceptional area of 78 square meters.
Antonio Santella, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Sanlorenzo Superyacht Division point our that “The most important aspect that characterized the yacht’s concept has been the will to obtain continuity, through an impressive stairway, between the beach club and an area we could call an “al fresco” veranda, that is the rear part of the Main Deck where the pool is located. The idea behind the layout enabled us to integrate, as much as possible, the main afterdeck and the beach club.” Thus enabling guests to enjoy both areas simultaneously, without separating the guests.”
The new 64Steel Attila, also a winner of the “Best Interior Design Trophy” at the recent World Yachts Trophies, will be on view at the Monaco Yacht Show until September 28th.
