Forbes Travel Guide awarded the Stars of Italian hospitality

Among the 60 structures to receive the prestigious recognition, 5 new ones were awarded a Five-Star rating

Yesterday, Forbes Travel Guide (FTG), the worldwide expert on the authentic Five-Star service, presented a galaxy of “Stars” celebrating the best hotels restaurants, and spas in the world. The 2020 awards celebrated 1,898 structures in 73 countries. Among them, the new entries are 70 Five-Star, 120 Four-Star, and 81 Recommended Hotels. The restaurant category includes 13 new Five-Star, 8 new Four-Star, and 2 new Recommended.

As in previous editions, Italian hospitality stars shone bright.

Over 60 structures along the BelPaese received one of the prestigious FTG ratings underlining the high level of the Italian offer.

The guide assigned the coveted top rating award, Five-Star, to 5 excellent structures. Two of them are on the Amalfi Coast, in the province of Salerno. They are the ‘Belmond Hotel Caruso’ in Ravello and the ‘Le Sirenuse’ in Positano. Other two top-awards arrived in Tuscany. One went to the ‘Hotel Il Pellicano’ in Porto Ercole, in the province of Grosseto.

And the other was awarded to the ‘Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco’ in Montalcino, in the province of Siena. While in Rome, the new Five-Star is the ‘Hotel de la Ville Rocco Forte’.
