“The World’s 50 Best Restaurants” has selected the eleven restaurants with the best panoramic views in the world, including two exceptional Italian establishments: AlpiNN and Lido 84.
AlpiNN is located in Brunico, South Tyrol, and is renowned for its extraordinary location among the Dolomites. Perched on pillars overlooking a mountain edge, the restaurant offers spectacular 360-degree views of the majestic peaks and surrounding valleys. Chef Norbert Niederkofler, known for his sustainable approach and “Cook the Mountain” philosophy, creates seasonal dishes using local ingredients, such as ash-cooked onion with valley cheese gratin.
Lido 84, situated in Gardone Riviera on Lake Garda, offers an enchanting view of the lake’s clear waters. This restaurant is led by chef Riccardo Camanini, who combines Italian culinary tradition with a contemporary and creative twist. Lido 84 ranked seventh in the list of the world’s best restaurants in 2023, thanks to its innovative cuisine and stunning setting overlooking the serene waters of the lake.
