The blend of well-established destinations and new proposals, combined with the personalized meeting program “The World,” makes this edition a must-attend event for anyone in the tourism industry. Organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the event remains a key appointment for the international tourism sector, with 2,700 exhibitors and over 1,000 buyers from 75 countries.
The 2024 edition will introduce 16 new international destinations compared to the previous year, bringing the total to 66 represented countries. Noteworthy debuts and returns include places like Skiathos and Halkidiki in Greece, more exotic destinations such as Namibia and Uganda for Africa, Antigua in the Americas, and Almaty in Kazakhstan for Asia.
Major re-confirmations will also be present, such as China, which began its post-Covid tourism reopening process at the 2023 edition, and Jordan, returning with an impressive stand of around 450 square meters after being the Country Partner in the previous edition.
What’s new at this edition of TTG
A key new feature of the 2024 edition is the “The World” program, a matching initiative between supply and demand, allowing international sellers to connect directly with key buyers.
Gloria Armiri, Group Exhibition Manager of TTG, explained that this program will make the event “a real container of a world-on-world business model,” further increasing the opportunities for visitors and exhibitors to close deals. The goal is not only to promote the commercialization of tourist destinations but also to facilitate knowledge exchange and professional growth for all industry operators.
