This remarkable event, one of the highlights of the evening, was organized by All about Italy, an initiative that has been promoting Italian excellence worldwide since 1997. The concert featured Luigi Cherubini’s Messa Solenne in D minor No. 2 “For Prince Esterházy”, directed by Annunziata De Paola. The Münchner Bachsolisten orchestra, in symphonic formation, the Philharmonischer Chor München, along with forty choristers and six soloists, delivered an emotionally charged performance.Adding a unique touch to the evening were the stunning Tableaux Vivants, living recreations of Caravaggio’s and his school’s masterpieces. Nearly one hundred artists collaborated to merge the visual intensity of Caravaggio’s art with Cherubini’s music into an extraordinary experience. After the concert, guests had the pleasure of attending an exclusive dinner at the prestigious The Charles Hotel Munich, a Rocco Forte Hotel, further enhancing the event’s refined and exclusive atmosphere.
Paolo Del Panta, publisher of All about Italy, commented: “I am deeply satisfied with Gala Italia 2024, a true triumph of Italian heritage, excellence, and Made in Italy elegance. The numerous congratulations we received from company presidents, administrators, and partners, as well as from Sergio Maffettone, Italy’s Honorary Consul, and Sir Rocco Forte, who addressed the audience during the gala dinner, underscore the event’s success. As All about Italy, we remain committed to promoting Made in Italy globally through events and initiatives that highlight its exceptional quality and excellence.
