From January 24 to February 8, 2025, the Sala degli Artisti at the Circolo degli Esteri in Rome will host the solo exhibition of Claudia Palmira, a New York artist and designer based in Rome. The exhibition, titled “ROME. I live for beauty,” will feature works from the “Iconics/Poetics” series, a collection that reinterprets the symbols of Rome through contemporary artistic techniques and a unique visual language.

A New York-born artist and designer residing in Rome for nearly twenty years, Claudia Palmira brings her new exhibition, “ROME. I live for beauty,” to the prestigious Sala degli Artisti at the Circolo degli Esteri. Scheduled from January 24 to February 8, 2025, the event highlights the artist’s deep connection with the Eternal City through a selection of works from her prolific Iconics/Poetics series.

The exhibition offers an artistic journey exploring the soul of Rome. Claudia Palmira’s works reinterpret cultural icons and symbols of the city, such as mythological figures, flora, and architecture, blending traditional artistic techniques with digital innovations. Her mixed-media collages, created on high-quality acrylic glass, stand out for their combination of classical and modern sensibilities, inviting the audience to rediscover Rome through a fresh perspective.

Claudia Palmira’s career is filled with remarkable achievements, from the artistic direction of prestigious projects such as the Laudato Si’ exhibition at Palazzo Braschi in 2024 to the founding of Clù, a luxury silk scarf brand distributed internationally. As an artist, her work has gained global recognition with exhibitions in Rome, Naples, New York, and Greenwich.

The exhibition will feature standout pieces such as “I Live for Beauty” (2023), “Resting Athena” (2023), and “Spirit” (Tiepolo) (2024). These limited-edition, signed artworks will be available in various formats, with customized options upon request. The Iconics/Poetics catalog, comprising 100 works from the series, is also available to delve deeper into the artist’s creative journey.

Bio* Claudia Palmira is a designer, artist, and entrepreneur with an international background. She founded the Rome Design Agency, a studio that blends classical aesthetics with contemporary innovation, creating unique and customized design projects. Throughout her career, Claudia has collaborated with prestigious clients such as Simon & Schuster, Bulgari Hotels, and CBS, standing out for her ability to combine refined design with functionality. She was named the “designer’s web designer” by House Beautiful magazine and curated innovative editorial and multimedia projects, including the magazine DSGN. Among her recent ventures are the launch of Clù, a luxury silk scarf brand sold internationally, and the creation of the Rome Photography Workshop. Through her Restart Retreats project, she has brought personal development experiences to life in Southern Italy.
