From February 23 to 25, 2025, BolognaFiere will host the Slow Wine Fair, featuring over a thousand wineries, tastings, and a focus on wine sustainability. Organized by BolognaFiere with artistic direction from Slow Food, the event will allow visitors to taste more than five thousand wine labels.
This year’s central theme will be sustainability throughout the entire winemaking supply chain, with particular attention to innovations in packaging and logistics to reduce environmental impact. In addition to tastings, the program will include conferences, masterclasses, and the participation of industry experts.
A dedicated area will feature amari and spirits in collaboration with the National Amaro Association of Italy, and for the first time, there will be a section dedicated to coffee, managed by the Slow Food Coffee Coalition.
The previous edition, held in 2024, saw significant growth compared to previous years. Approximately 1,000 exhibitors participated, including over 500 certified organic wineries and 200 international producers from 27 countries, with a doubling of foreign participation. Attendance reached around 10,000 visitors, almost double the 6,000 from the previous edition.
The Slow Wine Fair will take place alongside SANA Food, the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products (February 23-25), making it an unmissable event for food and wine professionals and enthusiasts.
