The fifth edition of Gala Italia concluded with remarkable participation. The cultural and social initiative, organized by the prestigious magazine All about Italy, which has been promoting Italian culture internationally since 1997, took place on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Held at the Herkulessaal, the event brought together art, music, photography, institutions, and businesses, reaffirming the mission of the initiative: raising awareness and fostering engagement on the issue of gender-based violence.
The day opened with a high-profile press conference, followed by a business lunch attended by representatives of Toscana Promozione Turistica, the Municipality of Genoa, and the Genoa Chamber of Commerce, along with other Italian and German institutional delegates. The meeting emphasized the value of cultural tourism, the role of institutions in promoting social awareness, and the joint commitment to combating violence against women.
The event continued with the official visit of Sergio Maffettone, the Italian Consul General in Munich, who, together with Dr. Del Panta, organizer of the event and publisher of All about Italy, and other distinguished guests, visited several fashion boutiques on Maximilianstrasse to view the photographic exhibition “Voices to Voices”, organized in collaboration with the 3M Foundation.
The day’s success was further enriched by a concert of Italian classical music, conducted by Maestro Annunziata De Paola, featuring works by Verdi, Rossini, and the renowned yet historically marginalized Italian composer Giulia Recli, the first woman whose compositions were performed at Milan’s Teatro La Scala and New York’s Metropolitan Opera.
A tangible gesture of solidarity was showcased in the foyer of the Herkulessaal, where charity t-shirts designed by Arianna Alessandrini were presented. Dedicated to the values of respect and women’s freedom, the initiative will contribute to fundraising efforts in support of Road to Green 2020 and its educational prevention project Road to Pink – Legal Love, aimed at promoting awareness in schools.

At the end of the cultural program, guests and institutional delegations moved to the prestigious The Charles Hotel – Rocco Forte Hotels in Munich, where an Italian aperitivo and the Gala Dinner offered a convivial and high-level networking opportunity featuring regional Italian dishes that united institutions, businesses, and cultural partners.
The enthusiastic participation, together with the involvement of major institutional and cultural entities, confirms the role of culture as a key driver of social change.
All about Italy and Gala Italia 2025 continue to stand out as an annual project dedicated to raising awareness and fostering collaboration among languages, regions, institutions, and businesses toward a more conscious and responsible society.
