Description of the Event
We are pleased to present the 4th edition of "GALA ITALIA," an extraordinary event that celebrates the unique combination of Italian symphonic music and late Renaissance painting.
The event aims to highlight the excellence of Italian culture in Munich, a global centre of arts, culture, science, technology, finance, innovation, business and tourism.
Highlights of the Evening
- Musical Performance: The Missa Solemnis No. 2 in D minor „for the Prince Esterházy“ (1811) by Luigi Cherubini (1760-1842) will be performed, providing a musical backdrop to the performance.
- Tableaux Vivants: 25 Tableaux Vivants of paintings by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio and other Italian painters from his school will be staged by the Italian theater group Teatri 35.
